Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska has said he does not even own the central London mansion that was occupied earlier by squatters.

Police responded to the scene in Belgrave Square after squatters took over the property on Monday morning.

However, a spokesman for the billionaire said the property belongs to family members and not him.

Demonstrators gained access to the property

The squatters broke into the property at around 1am on Monday and declared that it "belongs to Ukrainian refugees".
