First, launch the Messages app on your iPhone. In the app, find and tap the conversation in which you want to delete a message.
On the message screen, touch and hold the message you want to delete. Then, in the menu that opens, choose “More”.
Next to each message on your screen, you will see a selection icon. Touch this icon for all the messages you want to delete.
When you’re done, in the bottom left corner, tap the trash can icon.
In the message that opens, select “Delete message”.

Delete entire text conversations on an iPhone
To delete an entire conversation you’ve had with someone from Messages, follow these steps.
First, open the Messages app on your iPhone. Then find the conversation to delete (do not open it).
On the conversation you want to delete, swipe left. Then, from the options that appear, select “Delete”.
In the message, choose “Delete”.
And that is. Your iPhone will remove all chat from your Messages app.
