Do you have unused and unwanted apps on your Amazon Fire TV Stick? If so, it’s easy to uninstall those apps and tidy up your app library. You have two different ways to do it, and we will show you how to use them.
Use the “Applications” menu to uninstall an application
Your Fire TV Stick has a menu called “Apps” that allows you to quickly view and launch your installed apps. You can also use this menu to remove your apps.
To get started, on your Fire TV Stick remote, press and hold the Home button. Then, in the menu that opens, choose “Applications”.
On the “Your apps and games” page, highlight the app you want to remove.
While your app is highlighted, on your Fire TV Stick remote, press the Menu button (the button with three horizontal lines).
In the right panel, in the menu that opens, select “Uninstall”.
Select “Uninstall” on the prompt.
And that is. Your chosen app is now removed from your Fire TV Stick.
With free space on your device, you might want to get some new apps. Did you know that you can download apps not available on the AppStore after jailbreaking your Fire TV?

Delete an app using settings

To use that option, from your Fire TV Stick’s home screen, choose “Settings” (a gear icon).
In settings, select “Apps” to access your installed apps.
In the “Applications” menu, select “Manage installed applications”.
Installed apps will be displayed. Here, select the app that you want to remove.
On the app page, select “Uninstall”.
In the message that opens, select “Uninstall”.
And your selected app is now uninstalled on your Fire TV Stick. Enjoy a neat user interface!
