Restart Discord on Windows

Then in the top right corner of Discord, click “X” to close the app. Remember that this will not completely close the application.

When you find Discord, right-click it and choose “Exit Discord.”

To reset it, open the “Start” menu, search for “Discord” and select the app in the search results.

Restart Discord on Mac
On a Mac, close Discord from the app’s menu bar.
