Nextbase’s new dash cam is basically a security system for your car.

Announced at CES 2022 last year, Nextbase is finally set to launch its AI-powered 4K smart dash cam this spring. It does everything a normal camera can do, but much more. The dash cam is an LTE-enabled smart camera capable of streaming live video from your car (on the road or parked) to the Nextbase app or cloud storage, thanks to T-Mobile connectivity.
It has all the usual features of a high-end dash cam, like 4K video recording with a wide-angle lens, night vision, and internal storage to keep all your footage safe.
However, the Nextbase team also integrated AI and LTE which will help the camera keep an eye on the road ahead, keep you in your lane and even alert you to burglars or a hit-and-run parking lot in real time. hour.
The Nextbase iQ has two cameras, one facing forward and one facing the cabin. You can also get an optional third add-on lens for the rear window. Thanks to internal intelligent AI, it’s essentially OnStar for any vehicle and can notify emergency services (or your preferred contact) in the event of an accident.
