Turns out one of Nintendo’s most iconic SNES games, Super kickoff!!, has a secret mode for two players. Some simple button combinations, which were “accidentally found” by Unlisted CheatsQuickly unlock multiplayer fighting in the 28 year old game.
First, Unlisted Cheats discovered a single player match mode where you can fight any super tee shot character of your choice. Simply bring up the game’s title screen, hold Y + R on a controller connected to slot two, and press START on the first player’s controller.
Even more, in this free match mode, at the character info screen, hold B + Y and then press A or START. From now on, the CPU opponent can be controlled from JOYPAD2 so you can fight against a real person.

From here you can enable two player mode by holding B + Y on the second player’s controller and pressing START on their primary controller. The second player can choose which opponent they want to use, and interestingly, they can perform special moves with combos like Down + B.
What IGNAccording to Kat Bailey’s notes, these cheats also work in the Nintendo Switch Online version of super tee shot. If you want to scare some childhood friends, now might be the time to treat them to some quick matches.
It seems that Nintendo used this feature for super tee shotso it’s hidden behind an awkward cheat code. Either that, or the company couldn’t finish a two-player mode for the game and decided to leave this secret behind.
