Samsung’s India branch has just announced an event where it will unveil a new Galaxy A smartphone. While it doesn’t confirm whether it’s the Galaxy A54 or not, the page mentions some specs like a 120Hz display, a camera.” no vibration” and 8 GB of RAM. We also have three color options, including burgundy, black, and green.
These specs probably don’t mean much on their own, but they have been associated with the unreleased Galaxy A54 in the past thanks to leaks and rumours. So while it’s not mentioned by name, it’s not exactly hard to figure out which phone it might be.
Of course, this is an India event, but Samsung’s Galaxy A5x range is selling well everywhere, including the US. It’s highly likely that the company will opt to sell the phone first in India (where it has a fierce competition from companies like Xiaomi and might need a head start) and follow through with a global launch in the future.
