Tiny PCs are awesome, but depending on what specs you want, they can be quite expensive. If you don’t need a powerful piece of equipment, but just a PC that gets the job done for basic daily tasks, this little PC from MSI might be the one for you.

MSI has just released the Cubi N ADL mini PC, a small computer that has basic specs but, more importantly, is really cheaply priced as a result. Let’s talk about the specs first though, because unlike MSI’s other offerings, this one is about as basic as it gets. The computer is powered by Intel’s Alder Lake-N chips, which means you’re getting cheap CPUs – there’s a model on the list with an Intel N100 processor, a basic quad-core CPU with a really low 6W TDP. It also has a single SODIMM slot for DDR4-3200 RAM, as well as an m.2 slot and a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD bay for storage.

This is by no means a powerful machine. However, if you’re looking for a computer that has the basics right, this might work for you. The silicon in this computer is good enough for web browsing and basic work tasks, and if you combine it with enough RAM and storage, the CPU probably won’t slow you down much.

This computer is small, and while it might not have the best specs, it’s got the basics right, and for its price, you really can’t go wrong with it.

The computer is about $300 at most retailers, so if you want to get it, be sure to buy it now.
