AMC Streams More Free Shows and Movies to VIZIO Smart TVs

If you own a VIZIO smart TV, look forward to new free streaming content coming to your home screen soon. This week, VIZO and AMC Networks announced an expansion of their partnership, including nine free streaming channels and more than 150 movies and TV shows on demand through the AMC+ app.

New channels include Portlandia, MSG Sports Zone, AMC en Español, Allblk Gems and Overtime. VIZIO customers can access more free movies and series through the WatchFree+ app. The new titles add to currently available channels like ALL Reality, WE tv, AMC Thrillers, IFC Films Picks, and The Walking Dead Universe.

And it’s not just free content that’s included in the newly expanded partnership. AMC+ subscribers will also have access to popular series in the AMC Library like dark winds, London gangs, happy valleyand even the newly released lucky skein. Additionally, VIZIO users with an AMC+ subscription will gain exclusive access to the company’s immortal universe of Anne Rice with shows like Anne Rice Interview with the Vampire and mayfair witches. In addition, new seasons and series of The Walking Dead Universe, such as The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixonand fear of the walking deadwill premiere on the network later this year.

All new free and paid content will be available through the AMC apps on the home screen of your VIZIO smart TV.
