One of the most impressive LEGO Ideas candidates is now brought to life. Designed by Truman Cheng, the LEGO Starry Night The game turns the classic Van Gogh painting into a 3D brick art piece. if you thought Starry Night it was trippy, wait till you see it in depth!
the lego Starry Night Set measures 12-inches high, 15-inches wide, and 5-inches deep. It is made of 2,316 bricks, including several painted bricks that mimic the look of brush strokes. Additionally, the set comes with a cute Van Gogh minifigure and a small Starry Night canvas!
What really impresses me about this Starry Night Overall, in addition to the impressive colors, there is the detail of the houses and trees. They protrude from the bottom of this “painting”, adding a stronger sense of depth than the original Starry Night intentionally lacking.
I should point out that LEGO worked with MOMA (headquarters of Starry Night) to refine this set. It also comes with hardware to hang on the wall, though it can sit on a shelf or desk if that’s what you prefer.
LEGO Starry Night the game costs $170 and goes on sale June 1 (along with the Optimus Prime game). If you are a LEGO VIP member, you can buy it on May 25.
