Valve’s Steam PC game store revealed in September that it was changing its annual schedule for major sale events, but the annual winter sale remained. Just in time, Steam’s winter sale has started.
The Steam Winter Sale is available from December 22, 2022 to January 5, 2023 and ends on that day at 10 am PST. That’s the same time frame as last year, giving you exactly two weeks to get whatever games you want that may be on sale. The next store-wide sale after this one will be a spring sale in March, as Valve won’t be running any Lunar New Year sales in 2023 and beyond.
This time, some of the featured discounts include God of War for $30 (40% discount), Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for $59 (15% discount), and Oxide for $27 (33% discount). As with most Steam sales, almost every game on the store has some discount available, usually matching or slightly exceeding previous site-wide sales. I’ve been playing a lot Planet coasters lately, which is an older game and is 75% off right now.
