If you were a fan of the original Moto Razr line from the early 2000s, you’d love the latest leak of the new 2023 Moto Razr. While most of the images are leaked renders, we’re getting one of the first live photos of the new Motorola foldable with a familiar magenta pink paint job.
Motorola’s parent company, Lenovo, commented last year that the next Moto RAZR would receive a significant update. Those changes could include a new design with that all-screen bezel display, an improved hinge, and the usual performance boosts.
The 2023 Razr covers the entire front half of the phone on a single screen, according to various leaks, including the camera lenses and all. It’s bigger than previous generations and will likely exceed the size of the upcoming Flip 5 display.
Interestingly, it looks like Motorola is going back to the good old days and could take a cue from the famous RAZR V3 from the 2000s with its next model. That’s because we’re now getting images of phones in a hot pink (or magenta) color scheme. It sure looks pretty in pink.
The entire top half is one screen almost giving it a two-tone vibe, although they likely have always-on wallpapers and backgrounds to match the pink tones. You’ll also notice that the volume up/down and power buttons are pink in color, blanketing this entire phone with nostalgia.
If Motorola launches the Razr 2023 in pink, look for a few other colors to debut simultaneously. We don’t know much about the phone yet, but we expect a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, plenty of RAM and storage, improved cameras, and a release date sometime this summer.
