Windows 10 makes it very easy to change your default web browser. In this way, you can set Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave or another browser of your choice as default. We will show you how to do it.
Once you have set a browser as your default, your PC will open all your web links in that browser. Later, you can change the default browser back if you want.
First, make sure the browser you want to set as default is installed on your PC. Then launch the Settings app by pressing Windows + i.
In Settings, select “Applications”.
In the sidebar on the left, choose “Default Apps.”
In the right pane, under “Web Browser,” click your current default browser. In the screenshot below, it’s Google Chrome.
You’ll see a “Choose an app” menu that lists your installed web browsers. Here, click on the browser that you want to set as default.
Advice: Later, you can return to this screen to make another web browser the default.
And that is. You have successfully changed the default browser on your PC. Enjoy!
