Do you regret uploading that video on Facebook that you thought was funny? Don’t worry, you can always delete the videos you’ve uploaded to your Facebook account. You can do it from your desktop or mobile device, and we’ll show you how.
- Find the video on your profile and press the pencil icon or the three dots button.
- Select “Delete Video”.
- When prompted to confirm, choose “Delete”.
Please note that you can only delete videos that your have uploaded to your Facebook account; you can’t delete other’s videos. Also, once you have deleted a video, it will be gone forever and you will not be able to get it back. Consider downloading a copy of your Facebook data if you want to keep your video.

Delete a video from Facebook on desktop
To remove a video from your desktop, first, launch a web browser on your computer and open Facebook. Sign in to your account on the site if you haven’t already.
In the upper left corner of Facebook, click your profile icon, then choose your profile.
On your profile page, from the list of tabs at the top, select the “Videos” tab.
In the “Videos” tab, find the video you want to delete. Then in the top right corner of that video, click the pencil icon.
In the menu that opens, choose “Delete Video”.
Select “Delete” on the notice.
Warning: You can’t restore your video once it’s deleted, so make sure it’s okay to lose the video.
And that is. Your selected video has now been removed from your Facebook account.
Delete a video from Facebook on mobile
To delete a video from your mobile device, first launch the Facebook app on your phone.
In the Facebook app, tap on the three horizontal lines. If you’re using an Android phone, you’ll see these lines in the top right corner. On an iPhone and iPad, you’ll find these lines in the bottom right corner.
On the “Menu” page, select your profile.
On the profile page, scroll down a bit and choose “Photos.”
In the list of tabs at the top, select the “Albums” tab.
Access the “Videos” album.
Find and select the video you want to delete. When the video starts playing, in the top right corner, tap on the three dots.
In the menu that opens, choose “Delete Video”.
Tap “Delete” on the prompt.
Warning: Your video will be gone forever, so make sure you really want to do it.
And your chosen video is now removed from your Facebook account. Are you ready.
