As you can see above, it’s finally official. Google will take the stage in October 6 at 10 a.m. ET to hold its big “Made by Google” in-person event for 2022. And considering Google didn’t wait for leaks and rumors to spoil the surprise, we already have a great idea of what to expect.
During the event, we’ll get all the details on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, which will go up against Apple’s new iPhone 14. Google could then announce and launch its first smartwatch, the Pixel Watch, alongside the Pixel Tablet.
Yes, the company is finally launching its own watch, and we should get a look at Google’s first tablet in several years. At Google I/O in May, Google gave us an early look at the Pixel tablet, saying it will be available in 2023.
Expect details, specifications and release date information on the smartphones and watch, along with more details on the tablet due to launch next year. And lastly, we could see some new wireless headphones, updates to Android 12L, and potentially a sneak peek at the rumored “Notepad” Pixel foldable phone.
The in-person event means we’ll get tons of details on the entire Google family of devices, plus it’ll be streamed live on YouTube. Stay tuned for more information.
