If you are an Android user, the steps to clear the cache of your Instagram app may differ slightly from the steps below. However, this guide should give you a general idea of ​​the steps to follow.

To get started, launch the Settings app on your Android phone. In Settings, scroll down and select “Applications”.

Note: To uninstall and reinstall the app, you will need to re-enter your login details. However, you will not lose the data stored in your Instagram account.

First, search for Instagram on your iPhone home screen. Then touch and hold the app. On older versions of iOS, you’ll need to select the “X” in the corner and then tap “Delete” on the message.

Clear your recent searches on Instagram

You can also delete your recent searches on Instagram, both individually and in bulk.

To do that, launch the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android phone. In the bottom right corner of the app, tap on your profile icon.

On your profile page, in the top right corner, tap on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines).

Select the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner.

Select “Your Activity” from the menu.

To remove an individual item, choose “X” next to the item you want to remove.

To remove all searches listed, tap “Clear All” at the top of the screen.
